- Go to A Thinking Liberal’s View of Israel…Part II
I can't believe I've been missing these posts, Naut! Over the past couple of years, I've been saying the same things - and it boggles my mind how much MIS-INFORMATION there is about Israel. Because I've been there nearly a dozen times, know Israel's history and current issues, I just assume that everyone else does, too. How WRONG I am! And college kids are the worst; they know nothing but the drivel they hear from the ultra-left fanatics. See my next post about this.....Mal

It's amazing all of the false things there are that are being said about Israel. This reading continues to be an eye opener.

Nautikos
A great bit of writing and very helpful especially:
"Can the chorus of critics admit, for example, that the UN recommended the creation of two states -- one Jewish, the other Arab -- and that the Jews accepted the proposal, while the Arabs did not and launched a war?"
You're a fine teacher and no I didn't know that until a week ago when your posts did have me educating myself through Wiki. Cheers old chap

the big sting
Thank you for sharing your views, and truths. After almost being annihilated from the face of the earth, can any thinking person not realise that these people are never going to let the slightest chance of it ever happening again, happen again. We worry about Iran developing the bomb,,,, Israel has the bomb and the means to deliver it anywhere in the world.
Insanity is when you see how many times you can whack the hornets nest before you get stung to death.
The world should turn the desert into a bountiful homeland for all who want to live in peace. Olives, dates, palms, figs, water, for everyone.
