A great description of pretty much the way I live my life now that I'm retired......I only worked one month last year. I'd like to work 3-6 months and spend the rest "relaxing".....I'm very, very good at it!

lol, what a cute little statement
do you wear socks in the snow? That actually reminds me of my father, I remember being very young and watching him put on his shoes without socks, it used to bother my mother, I dont know why.

Do you have a 'boss' toe, Naut? I have one and also, I hate sox too. I find myself, near barefoot, all the time...even when outdoors in the winter. I like to 'feel' from my feet --- and can you pick things up with your toesies? LOL --- okay, you don't have to answer. Good poem, off the cuff!!!! and on a 'whim' ~ Elyse

Naut, I would just love to throw out everything you mentioned there including the socks and just relax..But I do have a very demanding job and when I am working, you are in the sleeping zone and I just cannot conjure up how this can work for me..lol
Thanks for trying to think of something to write in my blog but you are right..it is all in the family here..
