Re: This reminded me a bit of my time living in Leeds
Thanks, hope and courage can hide in glasses for a while...  never for very long and rarely in the company of wisdom, though

Re: Shobana

This reminded me a bit of my time living in Leeds
with the ice cutting into my face as I found hope in a glass or three

Just lovely lionreign and I could envisage it all. Thank you for your entry in my blog - how cleverly constructed - with mischief, love and teasing all encompassed in those few lines.

Spectacular poetry with such a dynamic close that solidified the whole thing! I adore this one to no end! Your closes are so exquisite! sam

Don't ask me why Lionreign but this reminded me of a rugby game go figure?! I think it might have been some of the imagery... I don't know...

Everyone else looking down but you looking up and enjoying the winter star dance...with perhaps a glimmer of spring...

It's mighty cold out there at night, but it sure is beautiful.  The sky is so clear and the stars so sparkly.

This one reminded me of seeing the Crocuses as they dare to poke ther little green leaves above the snow. I'm always in a hurry to see winter close.

I understand that feeling of hurrying along to get in out of the cold,
but it is worth the look up and next time....I will try to do what you have done.
