I think your new blog looks great as well as the content. Wishing you much luck with your book signing. It is worth going to the various bookstores and book signings that is how you get noticed and in turn sell more books.

I think the colours and styling are very relaxing and work well with the content; where is the picture taken from? I run a web content consultancy and would be happy to provide any free advice whenever you need it? I'd also be interested in knowing how you managed to get published and whether you used an agent or not? Looking very positive though and good to see it. I'll link from various of my sites.

That is a nice blog you showed us in the other site. I have a book that has sold about 3,000 copies over the years but it was a lot of work for little return. Good luck

Looks interesting. Well if you are paying for it, they may well have sold you the advertising part by now... they help your blog's name to be looked at by different search engines etc., so I hope you have every success.

Good luck, all we can do is try...I have lowered the price of my books
on LuLu but nothing sells. One keeps trying. It is really a nice site I love the soft colours.

to answer your questions: Yes, it is worth it, go for it with joy and great things will come out of it, sign your books as if you are a best selling author, and soon, :) very soon, you will be :)))
