I too, need to visit more often here. Man, you had me laughing so hard. I am 36 and the far-sighted thing and the hearing is already happening...well, the hearing is from duck hunting for 20 yrs or so. Anyway, funny stuff. ace

Ah, Kris-Sis -- this is what I'm hearing from many places.
All I can think at this point is "Man, I'm not as young as I used to be." But a couple of beers later, I realize, "But I'm not as old as I'm gonna get!"
Still, the weird far-sighted thing is driving me bananas. It's a new deal, but I can now clearly see my father holding things at arm's length trying to read them.
Thankfully, I seem to be in pretty good shape -- he had a very severe heart attack at a pretty young age. I'm hoping I can avoid that, at least for awhile...

Oh, L'tl Bro.....
The fun is just beginning.....stay calm as you contemplate the experiences you've had so far multiplied tenfold...at least. Norah Ephron has a funny book out right now about some of the isues....the vision thing has probably pissed me off the most...well, until this knee thing....this knee thing is definitely the tops....I mean, I'm a dancer and walking is now a challenge some days!!!! Talk about mind games!! Whine, whine, whine..... Hope this is your best year ever Dearest....for you and your Beloved.
