Funny thing, Kiwis seem astonished that anyone would want to come here. The cost of living is high and they seem to feel this place is painfully remote from the rest of the world. Which to us, often enough, is it's great charm, besides the sheer beauty of it, the brilliance of the sunlight in the clean air, and the easier pace of life generally.
