Re:
Well I really thought the ladies would take over from me E.E. Kabu seemed interested  but as I suggested one would need a something to trade for the old gnomes, I Expect they are a shadow of their former selves. I wonder if you could  trade old Albert not Chumpet he's not big enough. You are probably right about a new strain if the rivulet is drying up the pollens will be thicker and much more likely to induce some of the real old well I can't say blood, as I have never dissected one. Probably be better not to mention this some might think a spell inside might be warranted. Although there will be plenty on the outside when it happens.

I appreciate you adding more worth to Research ChCh --- and I wonder how the Texas Fairies are in fact doing out there in all that inclement weather ~ Ah yes and I feel even the Texas Gnomes are shivering for the capture of their stature.  I must share a secret here ChCh - I have seen parts of that magical silvery, golden creek (you see the rivulet is drying up) One day I must share the story of my account at the Guadalupe River --- At any rate, I think by March here, there will be a new strain - yes, a stronger strain blowing across the countryside and I hope you find the newness and vigor and vim of the Gnomes and Fairies even more captivating than before.  Oh, let's hope ~ E.E.

Re: Shobana
Oh dear Shobana, it isn't quite that simple, I was only talking to Candybell the other evening and I was told that she believes many little girls don't believe in fairies because they start believing in boys. I don't know if that applies to ladies, Oh dear broken one of my New years resolutions, but I shouldn't think anyone reads these replies.

Hello Chiffchaff :), well I tried to close my eyes and wish to see a fairy and none appeared CC...the whole piece got me smiling. Happy New Year once again.

Re: Thank you for the history ....you have aided my research Kabu
Well I think it is probably a plastic factory now Kabu, but Chumpet told me about the original gnomes picked well or shall we say abducted. They are still alive of course they are spared the indignity of being made into plaster casts by a process that was used which I cannot reveal because F,S. would be horrified and even you might feel disturbed. They are still there if ever you can raise a rescue party. Let me think who you could take to get an exchange Hmm

Re: Taps
Lo Taps when one thinks that our Mothers played with little peg dolls just wood with a painted face, it was no wonder the fairy lore was passed down

Re:
Yes FS sadly she is only familiar with the casts.  Those large size ones are made by a terrible process, but I must not worry her.

I've always been a lover of fairies and fairy tales.  It was a part of my early life that I shared with my closest and dear sister.
