Re: E.E.
Thank you E.E. I'm getting punch drunk I think I may have replied to you already but it deserves two replies, you manage to dig  well the garden in this case we all talk in ways that we want to hide but the artists picks at the emotions .

Re: CC
Well Femia I hope that you have got a pond perhaps I might transform you into a nymph. But I expect I would only be a frog sitting on a lily pad with big eyes searching for recognition. Would you fancy being a froggy.

Re:
I think it is  F.S but when one is young it is hard to realize that but for a time and place certain incidents would not happen. If you lived in Canada for instance you might have walked into a Bank shall we say and happiness would have been yours. Reality is not what we think.  It is all an illusion of Nature. Believe me on this if you don't believe anything else. No one is unique.

"nothing seems sweeter than the things we miss"....
there's the lesson, C.C.....keep your eyes and imagination open, and someday that garden may reappear (or an even nicer one).....

I've found myself wondering many a time whether it was really that way.

Lo ChCh ~ ah this poem does ring melancholy and bluesy and yearning and well, I see you passed by the sadness and pushed on and I do hope you feel brightest and cheery again.  What it feels like to those whom think of past and days of youth and gardens that now bear ice--- and many things is perfected here.  I feel it and I see it...your imagery and senses alive ~ Write on because this is really a well written piece.  E.E.

Such a charming poem and very indearing for one who knows how it feel to sit by a pond and wonder about the one you Love with the fragrance of roses in the air then to awake in reality but the memory lives on. Wish you were here. Loved it Femia

I enjoyed the fairy tale atmosphere to it all! I liked celestial, too; it can mean different things to different readers! sam

Rest up our CC. and take care and come the Spring.....who knows Nymphs and
sylphs maidens and yes even a Gnome or two may breathe life into the cherry tree again...protect it with their magic.

Hi CG. No it wasn't meant to be religious just trying to find a solution for a common ailment. It didn't seem to work, but thank you for your honest comments, it makes life more interesting. I did have to drag some nymphs in as replacements, little madams started pinching the cherries.

Well CC if you read your Bible there is no mention of a Sylph though

Some people have tried to link them with fallen angels - those angels kicked out of heaven. Myself I think you should stay away from that type of thing. Meditate on God not things that make you sad CC. That poem has you seeing that you are left with dead trees and nothing good has come of it after chasing after such things as Sylphs, and the like. You need to consentrate on cheery things and not things that bring you down and are bad.
