I usually save money for the deals after Christmas to get a start for the next year! Unfortunately this year is not that way but I will rebound and do it next year! sam

Well on English TV they have been saying the record sales were because of the new V.A.T. increases due in England in January everything is going to go up, up, up and they time it just right so the cheeryness we had over Christmas makes our smiles threaten to slip down, down, down... Even travel goes up on 2nd January... The news I watched last night highlighted that this coming year will show the prices increase on everything and high VAT. I try to miss the news when I can...

It's the same over here. People are manic to get to the January sales and beat the VAT rise (jan. 4th). Mer, I never have any money left after Christmas so I never make the sales!
