How enchanting: a moonlight lily throughout the night! A star in its own right for me, too! And what a holiday it has been for me! I have enjoyed my time with Christopher! We have talked a lot of his deployment! Last night he was the only one home and I could tell he was more relaxed! He said he felt a 1,000% better! We know anything can happen but he is gaining confidence while the stress of the deployment is being abated! I wouldn't want to be in his shoes but I do know it will be a boon for him financially and that will be enough to get him through it all! He is a great soldier and sought after so as his mom I take refuge in it as well! We also learned he will only be in country for 7-8 months! Although it is a hot zone he will have great protection! He isn't crazy about being a gunner but he thinks he will be in charge of the vehicle in no time! We will see how it goes once he gets there! Last night we watched an interesting documentary called Restrepo. It was about soldiers trying to warm up to the locals to build a road and get rid of the Taliban in the valley! It was very interesting! Thankfully Christopher will not be doing or going into anything like that; it would take the wind out of my sails if it were to happen! I hope you had an awesome Christmas! sam

What a subtley, brilliant write. Like how "moonlit lilly" while being the pivot center is imbedded within the piece and its importance deflected throughout the overall piece--something that seems endemnic to your thought, and works extemely well here.
But on another note, I don't know why you want to change your name every year. But if you want to be Chief Chaff, it's ok with me and Qiemosabe, who's not here right now because he and Silver are hoffing around for some medical marujuana because we need to help our aging process.
