The voice of the poem did have her but only in a dream! This was rather good on the ruing aspect and then the time gets away for we never comprehend that one day they shall not pass our way again! Very cool when read aloud, too! I have meaning to let you know that I have had some time with Christopher! Two nights ago we watched two movies, had dinner and chatted sparingly about his deployment! Then yesterday we had a very long discussion about him going off to war and how he could meet his objectives. And we talked about college and buying a home in Idaho together, an investment for him and nice place for me! It will be nice because he can make some dough when I'm gone, it doesn't matter when because we all become a wilted plant in the end. A lot was settled between the two us and he knows my comfort level and what I believe he can do and how it can be accomplished! It turns out he will be gone only 365 days total. He will serve between 7 and 8 months in country! A year can pass quickly enough and I am grateful for that! I plan to count it down on my poetry blog! lol I hope your headache has gone away, they are so miserable, I don't care how often one gets one, they are a darn drag! Have a good evening! sam

each day, each moment we have the choice: do we see what is there, or do we see what is lacking. The option we select is a decision we have to live with for years

Re: Shobana
Alright Shobana don't you start, there are a lot of things that I cannot erase from my mind. Like thinking I have to go shopping in a while and be trampled on by fierce females.

what could have been, had you been true to yourself, seems as though you wanted to convince yourself that she wasn't lovely, by only seeing her flaws.

I know of many who do not wish to let go. Some end up never doing so...

CC, she must really mean something to you as you just cannot erase her from your mind. I suppose people overlook the minute details in comparison to nature.

Be well CC.
