A busy pre- Christmas time!
Sounds like a busy time there. But you sound happy busy not sad busy.
As you are a knitter I just wondered have you ever used spider web stitch? I can't remember how it's done, but it looks like a spiders web. Someone told me when I was young, and showed me the efffect. It looks pretty but I haven't found anyone who has heard of it since.
