C.C.....I, too say, well done...

this speaks to one's heart and we can't help "just wondering", along with you...

Your last stanza sums all the wondering up beautifully and candidly and gives us a great look at love:

"Love that is not physical is probably the golden blend
To feel this must be the pinnacle of life, not just at the end
when loss makes this worthy thought possible. The giving
of this to someone or many must be the true feeling."

I love this poem! I love the candor and the innocence! One can reach out to God in any way, it's the reaching out that pleases Him most! The voice in the poem is superb because it touches the reader and I think that is always marvelous when it occurs! Well done, C.C.! sam

You are probably right Kabu, we all search for something when we are small

Love can do so much for us. Like the speaker, I've had doubts about my praying abilities over the years...

Oh how beautiful. God speaks sometimes in voice, I have not had that experience but it does happen. He does speak to us through his Holy Spirit. You don't have to be good at praying only to talk with God. He wants a relationship with us. This is your best work it is so pure. xoxoxo

I believe that the innocence of a child is the pathway to all Faith.

CORNCROAK

I think you hit on the answer of love  simply the 'giving' of love to someone or many. Beautifully written my friend,
