I like how addressing what is happening and making it into a fine poem that so many can relate to! This is a qualifier! So sorry I got behind on reading you...dreaded migraines again! sam

Re: I have many days like this
Sadly my poems are small chunks... I tend to have most trouble with beginnings, once I have started I can get going, but it's finding that thought, that feeling to hang it all on that is hardest

Good poem. You are good at painting pictures in our minds with your words, capturing your subject in such a way that the reader is caught up with you, and wants to hold on with you; through the adventure or problem to the other side and to the very end. Well done Lionreign you are very gifted.

If you can write a poem about being 'blocked then I don't think you are 'blocked'! Anyway I loved it

lionreign...and I know this feeling very well, too, my friend....
some days its quite immoveable, but at a moment's notice that block can tumble...(the tiniest impression or thought can dynamite it into oblivion)..

..you've captured the helplessness of that "block" so well.

I have many days like this
and yesterday was certainly one of them. Sometimes the enormity of all the things I want to do prevents me from even trying to make a start. I tell myself to break things down into small, manageable chunks - which usually works.
