This is a grand summation of what can happen when one delves into what was once once! Loved the imagery and flow, too! sam

Well that's how poetry works C.G. One cannot write about what one does not know.

Loved you.
Your poems are always good CC but this one was sad and had a bittersweet taste to it like sweet and sour maybe... Look for something sweet and cheery I'm sad for you... Good poem as always.

The untested love...reality is much more difficult to keepworking on than
than the fantasy of what might have been with a long lost love. I met upwith a long lost love someyears ago........he had an untidy beard and he smelled like Uncle Albert.

you made yourself a masterpiece from impressions, C.C.
but it appears the impressions may not have been lasting...but you can always recall her....very romantic with a hint of bittersweet as well.
