Ah yes, the weather indeed! Although right now I cannot complain because we are a bit warm this week for the norm! The things you toss in your poetry make me smile, like her mother putting her on the pill! No 'youngings' 'round her! lol sam

 detecting the groan - moan of old man winter here.  Poor souls --- yes, we're all getting chilled to the bone and even depending on the area - Stay warm dear Cc ~ stay warm and cozy when you can.  And the flowers --- well, snuggle them with plenty of mulch so Spring will find them rested and ready for 'outbursts' ~  I enjoyed this dialogue - I like your writing, always --- write on!!! ~ E.E.

that is why i escaped it, but out here I love this season cause the flowers are still blooming and the sky is still blue and birds are still right here. :)

still this poem is very well written and still a joy to read

Sounds like you are sick of the Christmas shoppers and the busy body one
inevitably runs into when you know everyone in the village. I don't enjoy the crowds...no one smiles.
