I have been addicted to sugar for a long time. I am not diabetic, but knew I was playing with fire by eating sweets all the time. In May I found out I was gluten-intolerant, so my diet has changed a lot. Then I got a food sensitivity test and found out my body is sensitive to cane sugar. So, I w

ill slowly try to cut it out. Treats with honey aren't always as tasty and tempting, but still good.

cept at Christmas.....but then back onto healthy eating...that's great for the cholesterol numbers too. You want the good figure to go up and the bad to go down. Exercise and diet...again the best for this. Keep up the little garden and walking the doggies and you will stay healthy for years. Sorry the nurse just pops out when my friends may have a problem. Oh the BP. is excellent.

My cholesterol was up when I went to the Dr. I have to lose weight and exercise more - but after all that, she said there's no guarantee my cholesterol will get any lower. Is it worth bothering?

I think most of us just don't get enough exercise on a regular basis. I know that I need to walk for at least thirty minutes every single day and preferably longer, but I don't--just when I want to and that's not regular basis.
