Yes we may be in decline, and we may be on the down side, but we are still the people we have always been, and we are only in decline because we have let a few put us in this situation. Once we put the bull behind us, the political correctness, the global warming nonsense, once we all wake up and get back to basics and get back to God we will then be on the incline.

The statement that the conflict is a
'nuisance that must be managed, not a problem that can be solved' is pretty much what I declared while discussing this with friends a while back. Maybe I should run for president....
. I must admit that the discussion resulted from my telling the others about your informative posts on the subject. I'll have need of a Secretary of State....what are you doing for the next four years? Jokes aside, this thing just keeps getting scarier, and scarier.

Please dont ever stop posting your opinion if its on Obama or anything else
as for the Decline of a Superpower, that is the true story of America, as I said on my last comment to you, I call america now "What used to be America" because the concept is no longer...
as an american I can see the huge difference in American life for everyone from the bottom of the latter all the way to the top, America is not declining, America is already gone. The question now really is
can we bring back the superpower? I am not so optimistic, but I wish...and hope.. and change lol

yes, this is what I feared with Obama - naive and ineffective - but as far as the US being a superpower, we were in decline long before Obama took over.....Mal
