Oh my - things are getting out of hand...literally in this case. I had to choose between pat-down or the scanner on my way back from Sakatoon (I have metal in my leg too, but never had it beep before!). I took the patdown - there was too long a line at the machine - but my request that the male security officer do it was denied.
It was the very careful, very articulate
'I am going to touch you between the breasts with the back of my hand...' lady who did the job. Bummer.

The whole process is revolting! But that this poor guy should be charged is bizarre and the height of injustice! These people need an education in human physiology...
