This is the story of Wiley and Kabu...ther was a possibility of danger from
meeting on line and darling to meet in person. But the joy....wellthat is the difference for us...there is no reeturn to normal.

Hmmm - when I muse, I think yes, feelings of euphoria as elation and bliss are there for me to accept or deny.  and yes when all is said and done, I do feel a sense of gratitude for the rich rewards of release.
I found this pome could be read several ways however, I viewed it like a canvas - and art and writing - musing and in searching it can be as you say, "returning to normal is not achieved easily" - It's like an absorption - yes, this describes osmosis and change.  Now you see how you inspire, Cc --- amazing this brought out deep ponder from "is this you?" --- Brilliant! ~ E.E.  (i love this poem )

"paths of pleasure hitherto placed out of bound"..hmm, sounds like quite the journey...oh, I realize from readin the entire poem that there may be some danger involved, but what is life without a little daring......well done as always, my friend.....
