Dreadful news
One of Susan's pupils - a little girl of eight - has cystic fibrosis and has been in an out of hospital all of her life; it's really alarming. So sorry to hear about this

The fingernail polish thing is new to me about this disease.
I've always felt it was unhealthy to keep birds inside the house.

wow unbelievable. I woke up today with all kinds of things going wrong in
my body. My lips are swollen, my back has a red spot on it, my nose is stuffy etc etc. I can feel for your friend and the fact that the doctors told her that there is nothing that can be done. I feel that today.

That must have been a real shock for her. Hope there's some treatment she can have to relieve her condition.

Poor lady. Is she married to either of the smokers now? That is horrible. I hope they find something short of a transplant.

to struggle to breathe is so scary and exhausting and well just ruins quality of life. I am glad that I don't like seeing birds caged....and now learning this.
