Warehoused is the appropriate word to use. We today treat human beings
like commodities, to be discarded after use.

Yes you are a good old guy Bob It will give you a break. years ago when old people were put in a home we used to say a couple of weeks and that will be it. Thank goodness it is better now, but still tragic for those discarded as though worthless. Poignant writing.
