No quiet is not a bad thing, Bel (LOL) I used to think when it was quiet, utoh --- there was something wrong.  Bless you and have a wonderful day, thinking on that assignment.  Elyse

Bel....

sounds like you've been busy while I've been away...good luck with the assignments.....

You're right about "quiet"...this past few weeks without a computer has reminded me of that....

Yep, cats can bear a grudge, and so can dogs. Jag gets ticked off with me when I pay too much attention to other dogs we meet on our walks - he's very friendly with other dogs, but when I pet them too much, he's been known to growl at them...

Reading about the cats brings a smile to my face...I find writing to be very cathartic as well.

I've found that writing about someone else's emotional stuff is
more do-able. I used to write obits for a club newsletter, and often got compliments on them, but when it came time to write one for a friend, it was all I could do to put it together. Just tell the story, don't worry about perfection. The content itself will touch readers.

now wouldn'tit be nice if we were sitting together in front of that fire
a shared rug around the shoulders and a sipping a brew and swapping stories, getting rid of horrid stuff. It is cold here too.

I wonder if we ever successfully bury things or just find a way to live with them so they don't interrupt the milieu as it were! sam

Writing about emotion charged circumstances in the past is cathartic, but I also know first hand it brings back feelings one would prefer to keep tucked away. Blessings for your writing project.

Bel
It seems the choice of cat in a temper is less of a problem than the light fixture last night. Spooky for sure. Be careful and stay warm. Bless you and yours.
