TAPS, it is great to hear that from you and...
I still think I would love to do a coffee table book with your poems and stories!

Corbin Dallas,
You do not comment often; when you do comment your words are seriously considered. It seems to me you show up at the most surprising and appropriate times (i.e. Rainbow Bridge). Thank you - you have made my day too.

Pat-B - I'm sitting here so happy -
You are such a great writer, that compliment is so appreciated! I'll follow your advice. It's so weird - I can market all my company's stuff, but when it comes to my writing.....

I have trouble with the revisions too, Kabu.
What is it they say? A writer tends to fall in love with his/her own words? You certainly deserved to be published, my lady! Your stories are so warm and fun - and just good feeling!! Readers crave that! It puts a little glow in this run-away world!

I knew the owners very well, so got away with it, LOL!

Sam, if only I could, I would
retire now..today..this moment..and write and write. I has so many unfinished stories in my head, and worry that I won't have the time to put them properly to paper (or computer, LOL). Well..I would take time out to watch hockey....

That secret (well, secret to us) admirere of your writing is not the only one: I too have admired it, from the very beginning when you wrote about your doggies...
And the taste, or maybe I should say smell, LOL, of the beginning of the story you're giving us here does cry out for more, even if I have to get myself another scotch now to settle my stomach...

You say you will become a writer when you have more time...
You'll research the markets, etc... Here's the thing: you ARE a writer. You just haven't started the marketing end of things. And there's never "more time" even in retirement. Sorry to break the news to you.
Writer's Digest and Writer's Market are both online. Take an hour a day (every other day?) to check 'em out, or sign up for Writer's Digest newsletters. It's a start. There's a website called Zoetrope where you can read and review other writers, and for reviewing 5, you can post one and get feedback on it.
Write on!

yes because I am fascinated to read on...you promise that there is
going to be more and worse and it is chilling to read. It is well worth writing it all down ....and then you get to the part like me where I am bogged down with editing and that is the tough part....but look, if I can get published...so can you...I just haven't made any money yet. LOL

As far as I am concerned, I really liked the blurb! It had a lot of mystery and intrigue to it! I'm left wondering the state of the cadaver and therefore I would keep reading! And I would like to learn how the rookie faired as well as the the perp! So it's very good! And, when you retire you better write! lol sam
