The Carnival Of Words
Thanks for your stories Lionreign. That one about the horse was interesting. I saw a video ages ago, where there was this person that looked across the room and then looked away, and everytime she looked back their cat would be nearer but just standing not walking. It was really strange to look at and your horse story reminded me of that. Thanks.

Re: that parade ground
I am with you there, sometimes I say that something just fell out of my pen and that is often the better stuff I lay claim too, but I think those words just wrote themselves

Re: Corncrake
Oh yes... mine too... sometimes it's more like trying to get 30 toddlers round a department store...

This is just wonderful. Such a clever use of words, and so rhythmic.

that parade ground
CC said it better than I could.  Mine can be an unruly troop at times; other times (and don't ask how this happens!) they have better ideas than I do.

Yes very apt Lion sometimes they don't want to come out on parade, but I like the idea.

As a lower-league wordsmith
I absolutely loved this. It's one thing to have such a great imagination but to be able to articulate it in this way is awesome.
