Dreams
I feel as you do, that your Mom was talking about your daughter..I believe that our family that have crossed over do make contact with us through our dreams, especially when it is something very important that they need to help us with.

I do think that this is something ..perhaps your Mother, your deepest
subconcious ....or your angel baby is telling you that you have to let your daughter go, perhaps without your supporting her, she will clean her life up ,if she really has to do it on her own. I don't know ....I am just putting thoughts down darling.

I feel that your assessment of the dream is correct...I've had dreams where those who were deceased were in them but nothing really remarkable occurred in them.

you retold your dream so clearly I felt I was there. I'm sure you drew a positive conclusion. I too have felt the comfort of messages from loved ones who have passed but not, I think , through dreams, a scent, a vision, an image.Strangely, I can never buy or plant chrysanomums any more. My dad gave me them just before he died and now I leave them for when he sends me a message, usually reminding me of advice he once gave. Thanks for writing.

I think there is often that gnawing feeling that maybe we did something wrong, or that we're not doing enough to help when we watch a loved one follow a destructive path; this in spite of what experience has taught us over and over again - some people will just NEVER change, no matter what. It is totally out of our hands. I'm a believer in dreams and the messages they contain.
