Spaced out
Ha ha that is just what it feels like as well. I have felt tired like that many times and it's so wierd. The floor suddenly looks sort of spongy and comfortable when you are standing and you feel drawn toward it to just lay down and rest a while... ha ha. Hope you catch up on your sleep soon.

hope you been able to catch up on your sleep, I am usually better if I dont have a lot of sleep until the time comes to slow down, then I really feel it

I tend to do a fair bit of writing in airports when I have been awake for 24 hours or more, and the stuff I write is some of my most creative...

Keep living with sleep deprivation long enough and
all those fuzzy edges, oddments you never noticed before, etc., will set you off on some strange tangents: leftover pizza seems like a sensible breakfast. The neighbors might be spies. People are looking at you funny.  I was sleep deprived for a good ten years when the kids were little.

It isn't a bad way to spend the day as long as you can afford the time.
Usually hits me at times I don't want it or can't enjoy it.

Perhaps it is a survival feature Malcom the body feels something is wrong and one gets a pysch up to prepare one for combat

Not for me. I've had 'another' times too often to count. Give me sleep and rational functioning anytime, especially on the job. However, not the same if you are in party mood...
