....But what Uncle Bow didn't tell anyone is HOW he lost his hair....! I swear, on occasion...and my hair is thinning. I think swearing makes you bald. Just a theory, only the uncle would know for sure, but I can attest that my head of hair is half of what it used to be. !@#$-it....I hate that!
Adnohr, thank you again for your comments. You kind and gracious-type people are spurring me on. After a fairly rough week, and feeling somewhat like I'm swimming upstream (against a slew of sharks, if I may be so very dramatic), the comments that are left on my blog create a much-needed buffer and drive me toward completion of my goals. It means the world, and that is not just some pat catch phrase. It truly does. I appreciate every encouragement. Thank you.

"Answer my question, Boy!" was the line in our family that always brought the most laughs.

LOL Nautikos!
I'll have to tell my son - he'll be delighted! BTW - my brother, who also lost his hair, calls it a 'solar panel for a sex machine'.

My whole family is a giggly bunch, but my son, Bow is much like your dad. Just talking to him on the phone guarantees a laugh or two!

What a fun story! I was laughing out loud, and now I'm grinning, probably from ear to ear, 'cause I'm
allowed to swear...

How fun. We had some of those phrases in our family too--usually generated by my witty Dad who had a wonderful sense of humor.

No doubt we'll be seeing this scene on "Modern Family" one of
these days... or some Disney movie. I know I'd find a few choice words if I should go bald...
