Re: Would spring be so sweet without the winter?
Probably not, Ciel, but that doesn't make winter seem any nicer :P

Thanks Kabu, I have a good feeling about the coming Spring which makes winter seem no more than a minor obstacle

Re: Corncrake
I get conflicting reports on that.. the met office claims a mild winter, the old wives say it will be a harsh one... I tend to believe the old wisdom...

Now that's how I would like to experience a winter! Wonderful imagery that was woven so perfectly! I like how I begin reading and think blustery and end up smiling, even with a winter theme! BRAVO!!! sam

Simply beautiful
I was thinking on Sunday morning, when putting the clocks back, how much I will enjoy putting them forward once again in the spring sunshine

ah yes, just remember the hay in the sun ~ or the vision one and all --- you know what I mean dear LionReign.  The warmth of memories will carry you through any chill.  Elyse

I think we are promised a mild one lion so you may be able enjoy looking forward to Spring without chilblains, but I don't think people get them these days another grand little poem. Nicely composed you must have a nice view from your window.
