Re: Sam444
it certainly can, it took many years to realise that silence is often worse than the wrong words.

Re: Corncrake
Thank you, I think that if a poem is made to look easy and relaxed then it is at least well written enough to hide all the work that went into it

Re: lovely
Thanks Bob, perhaps that's because the tendency of young lovers is to show themselves as godlike... or maybe it's because vulnerability is always appealing (in small doses)

The only problem that girl will have when you finally get together will be to live up to the image you have painted of her... Your love is just perfect my friend and in your poems you express it so beautifully that I can not imagine anyone lucky enough to be the inspiration for them not melting when they read them... xoxoxo

I love the sense of
vulnerability here and it resonates with me a good deal. I can't imagine your choice or connection of words could ever be wrong though - they are usually nothing short of miraculous in my view.

No you won't get them wrong Lion a nice easy going poem I like the way you just say it easily not so easy to write though, but nothing is easily achieved. Well done.

Good poem! Funny, but nothing's as adequate (and more!) in a love poem as the confession of inadequacy!
