It was one of the nicest parties - a sugar buzz to be sure, LOL! Winter in the bush is quite different from that in the city. Maybe it's all that space...

It was a fantastic evening, Justi.
All those little goblins running around, and the parents wore disguises too. I live for events like these! (lost count of the hugs from Superman and a certain tiny vampire, LOL!)

What a fantastic picture of a fabulous view. I am not fond of snow, but I can see that in your world it would take on a different meaning...And I wish you a wonderful Halloween Party in the circle of your family and friends...

During my teen years I lived in the Cascade foothills of
western Washington, where we got heavy snows but it wasn't extremely cold. I remember when half the town would show up at the fork in the road where one way goes up Ivy's hill to the hard roat to Onalaska, and the right fork went straight for a couple miles until the dip down to the bridge over Mill Creek and beyond into the wild country. Someone built a huge toboggan sled, and half a dozen of us at a time would ride down, then help pull it back up the quarter mile to ride back down. With a good 26" of snow, we didn't have to worry about car traffic. There was hot chocolate, a bonfire, marshmallows... These days I don't like it so much.
