Re: You have dreamed a perfect castle
Absolutely, I feel no need for such things, they seem to just get in the way of people being people

Re: TAPS
thank you! I always imagined them as grim and unwelcoming from the outside and filled with thick rugs and huge fires inside.... (except for the Italian and Spanish ones which were cool and elegant inside)

You have dreamed a perfect castle
and you have furnished it perfectly--not a single flat-screen tv, no trappings of material wealth. It is a palace for the heart and soul.

you make that castle sound so very inviting, I don't think any visitor would want to leave...although you leave one with the freedom to come and go as they please..

A fortress indeed that is of the pleasant variety! I like how the enticement is presented but the choice is left up to the beholder! How very endearing! I loved how it was finely woven of glorious imagery! sam

Ride Of The Valkyrie
My husband and I laughed and laughed imagining you going away and leaving that on repeat. The first two or three times they might have thought it was great to listen to, but by the time the weekend was over they'd be climbing the walls ha ha very funny.

I often think of castles as cold, lonely places, of stern character, and yearning of its inhabitant to go to sunny climes. Not so in your poem. You make your castle most welcoming.

A Castle
Well if she hasn't packed her bags and arrived on your door step, to live you for ever as her prince charming then you should check if she's actually read this poem... Great poem! I love all of it, but that last line wow.
