I would have been glued to you too, Naut - because my eyes would have been tightly closed. Definitely with JAG on this one!

Beautiful pictures Nautikos, love the story of your trip with Jag. Thanks so much for the visit and over here if I drink an espresso I would probably only get a few spoonfuls..just not enough for me..

HOW GORGEOUS ~ Love these photos and yes, makes me want to be here -- there -- You are a great photographer ~ and

yes, I know of the communication of doggies - of animals actually.  I can sometimes feel from afar when one of my animals needs me...okay --- its true. i.e. I have a dog here that seizes and is on medication. I can be away on a task and I have felt - an urge of (I can't describe it) but it comes on an impulse for me to end what I'm doing and find what's hes doing.  You know, its real.  I've found him near seizure sometimes when I get home and I'm able to tend before it becomes more proportional.  I like when they're ready to eat, my pack, and I can usually pick out which one is steadily staring and shivering for their grub.  It can tug at my heart as well.  It's true this 'communciation...'  (Elyse a suffering whisperer?)

Why is there always a Pier 21 near any body of water?

It is usually a restaurant though with overpriced seafood.

As for your conversation with Jag...of course you have them.  Kat talks to me all the time.

I love scenes by the water. I guess that's the Chesapeake side of me.

Great pictures!  Poor doggie.  I guess he was really grateful to get back to the car.

Lovely photos. And it sounds like Jag is every inch a gentleman...
in spite of the rubbing up against the leg thing.

Your dog and I
... have one thing in common - acrophobia - which, according to some psychologists, is one of only two natural fears. However, you won't find me rubbing against your leg.  Nice pictures.

Naut
I love that dog, he is intelligent and nice at the same time, not to mention he is very handsome. My cat and I communicate clearly, animals are smarter than people, some people, give them credit for. The photos are great, thanks for sharing them.
