I have never owned a Mac, and probably never will; I'm not suited for it, temperamentally. You can't just
buy a Mac, you have to become a member of the
faith, a
believer...

I enjoyed the memories from the nursery rhymes, but the hiccup girl bit threw me for a loop! Someone told me to never purchase anything in BestBuy - it seems their service after purchase stinks...or maybe that's just in Canada.

Of all the things you wrote about here, my mind settled on "Swiss chocolate." I think I'm going to go out and pick up the few ingredients needed for making crockpot candy and make a big batch of it for Peter, and anyone spending time with him, to snack on. Everyone seems to like it and I haven't made any since last Christmas season.

we sit our notebook ...very small lap tops 8"...we sit them on a lap
desk.....not expensive but that keeps the computer cooler underneath, and you cooler and everything steady.
I recommend the Toshiba Notebook 8" size ..cost about $350 and has all the tricks and extras.

I use a netbook they are lightweight and small and cheaper than a lap top but they don't have the slot for a DVD or CD like a laptop.

I sooooooooooooo want a Mac
Here is something to consider if you can find a way to swing it. Mac's don't get virused. Most people I know who have had a Mac still have the SAME Mac they had 5 years ago and some even 10. In the end, Mac's are cheaper because you don't have to replace them.
