I love NPR and often have it running in the background while I blog. I also have my car radio set on that station.

We have our own Canadian versions of that, but I no longer listen much to any station, either at home or in the car.
After all, what are discs for?

I hate that cutting in by the TV stations too that constantly interrupt programs one may have an interest in.

I hate getting to the check out in the stores and them asking for a
donation too. No I don't want to be made feel guilty when I pop into Wal mart for a small item or two.

Yeh, I change stations too when that kind of thing happens. The young 'uns like the 70's & 80's music too, Pat-B - my grandson (20) would rather listen to my music than the rap/hiphop/hate music; most of his friends too. We oldies got taste!!!

I HATE fund raiser for both public television and radio!
Even the St. Judes drives me crazy as they cut into my favorite songs to splice in an audio of a story that leaves me sobbing as I drive.
All wonderful causes, all I support but PLEASE stop sending me not so subliminal messages during my entertainment. It's depressing!
