Re: Sooner or later that harridan will get hers.
Strat,
As of today, it seems she has lost her daughter...she may not get it now, but she just lost something more valuable than all the money in the world.

Sooner or later that harridan will get hers.
And there's no doubt that Pamela is lucky to have you for her mom.

I think beyond tests, people should have psych evaluations before they even consider having children, the world would be a much happier place for it.
Pam is lucky that her real mother is so much better than her bio mother

Re: She is very luck to have you...I know the consequences of being called such
Ariala,
It's sad that too many children and adult children know how this feels. We keep crying for change yet, nothing ever really does change in this arena.

Re: About that first comment...
Pat,
Sadly, I know that story all too well. There is nothing more painful than to have to stand back helpless because the law is on the side of the abuser.

About that first comment...
the toxic woman is my son's ex. They've been exed for ten years, but that doesn't mean she hasn't made his life hell anyway -- what's up with family court, that they'd let her have custody of a ferret, let alone human children, when their dad is so solidly in their corner...

Pam's mother could be a clone to my granddaughter's mom.
That drunken nasty witch has put my grandkids in danger, driving drunk, and she goes to a lot of trouble to inflict her bitterness with life on her own daughter. All I can say about a toxic woman like that, is one of these days her chickens will come home to roost, she'll be alone in the house and undiscovered for weeks after she falls down and can't get up. At least that's my unspoken fantasy. Shame on me.

I agree that one should have to prove they are qualified to be a parent. Your daughter is blessed to have you as a mom.

Her bio mom needs to learn a simple lesson: if one doesn't have something good to say about another they should keep their mouth shut! How awful to trash such a young person! It is beyond my comprehension! The bio mother needs counseling and fast! Some folks don't deserve their offspring and this is a great example. If Pamela didn't have you she would be one lost child (young woman). sam
