I commend you. You have so much on your plate and you handle it so well and don't seem to let it get you down.

I can't imagine how that would feel if it happened to our business! I wish you well in getting that situation straightened out.

I do feel for you! Being the victim of a partner's negligence and dishonesty is bad enough, but having it done to you by someone you view as a friend can be devastating. Aside from the worries over the damage, there is the disappointment, and it also raises questions about one's own judgment of others.
Anyway, I certainly hope that you'll manage to straighten things out soon. As to the 'friend', well, I suspect you're probably more magnanimous than I would be...

It's one thing not to kick a man when he's down, but when he's
taken you down with him, apologizing is the least he could do. I'm sure working harder and keeping on with the daily work can't hurt, but I agree with our friends who've already commented, he seems to be taking advantage of your generous nature. I can't abide a liar.

I read an article this morning regarding banking in the US and they are getting fierce in every area. They may be empathetic to one's face but they are all about profit! So sorry things are still not good, but I do are you confidence to rise up from this situation! For what it's worth my money is on you! Did the plan for senior living home get placed on hold as a result of this other conflict? sam

you poor luv...I am thinking that you are being too reasonable
and your former associate knows you well enough to count on this. I agree with Justi....business is business and he has to honour his obligations or ...well you may have to talk to a lawyer eventually. I hope as I write this, you are sleeping like a baby.

You are a spectatular woman. I could hardly see myself carrying on chat at all with a person who had caused me this sort of trouble. So if one has problems of their own, doesn't everybody... Business is business and either get on with it to the best of your ability of give up and go away. I don't like what he did to you. I do, however, admire you for the way you are responding.
