My heart is with you, especially because I've been sober 42 years and I went through what you are going through with a son. He's fine now and has 5 kids and is VP of a U.S. company but we haven't spoken for over 15 years. He's resentful for my tough love I suppose. God Bless you luv.

Re: Ravenmarie
Yes, it is hard, but strange as it seems, I'm relieved that she is behind bars right now. One of my fears for her has been realized but I'm thinking it doesn't have to be an ending. It can be a beginning.

Re: Sam
Addiction is a horrible thing. I truly did not know how far she had fallen until this episode.

Re: Justi
I thought of you when she told me they have regular Bible study available through someone's prison ministry. What a marvelous work you do.

I am praying for all of you
I can't even begin to imagine how painful this is for you but you are truly doing the most loving thing possible which is knowing that it's out of your hands and making her face the reality of her actions.  God bless you and your family.

Such an unfortunate situation. You are so right it is up to her to change.

As difficult as it is for you I think you are doing the right thing! the focus is to get her to realize how ill she is so that she will be more receptive to treatment! How sad to have fallen to such lows due to addiction. sam

Bless you heart. This is far more serious than it appears. She is truly in a maximum addiction to do this as opposed to getting them from a dealer even prescribed ones. We have worked with a lot of addicts. Kabu is right she has to reach bottom and then it is not as easy as making a decision often times. There are many addictive personalities, often the smartest of the crowd. There are so many factors here. You and those children are in my prayers and of course your daughter. You need to do as you are doing but do not give her money, is only my opinion and a suggestion. God bless you.

I wouldn't evenput money in her account...I would just take care of
the children as you are doing. She has to reach bottom alone. My prayers are winging your way and I would love to just give you A BIG HUG.
