Your poem made me think of all the strange water creatures.  This one, the blobfish makes me laugh even though he looks so sad.

The sea you speak of is such a wonderful place.

Ah yes, the mystics of the sea indeed! What fantastic imagery that flowed beautifully! Love you Sweetie! Your sam

shobana, there are great adventurous fish seeking out the mystics
of the sea, just as there are humans doing the same....very easy to feel drawn into the sea, and become one of those fish......

the beat and pace of this is wonderful and the imagery is just superb but the thing that took my breath was the phrase "the mystics of the sea", great line, great poem, great work!

Shobana, this has lovely rhythm ~ and indeed poetic thought --- I enjoyed the read; the movement and the feelings from your poem here.  xoxox Elyse

Nice poem. I felt like I was swimming with the fish who escaped the hook or the net, exploring the mystic depth of the sea.

They actually came alive in your poem.

A saviour of sardines a princess of pilchards. No I won't joke Shobana, it was a very nice idea, all the clever ones seeking respite in a sheltered coral reef or an old wreck or two . One thing one can work ones way into your gentle ideas like passing through swaying seaweed and following your clever little fish. Lovely

So beautiful Shobana... Today here in Miami a fish jumped out of the sea and impaled a lady that was sitting in a boat with something  At first they thought it was a barracuda that had bittenher but now they say it was something else... they are not saying what  ... Your gorgeous poem made me think of that... weird loll...  Excellent work xoxoxo

Lovely! And I was reminded of the large blue heron I saw fishing down in the marsh last weekend, motionless, with infinite patience...
