I like bridges too Naut...I like to find a way around them.   they frighten me and probably since the days of my youth when this one drawbridge looked as if it would fall on top of our car --- we were the first in line don't ya know.  However, I do like to photograph bridges...LOL, that you caused a bit of 'traffic rearranging' on the bridge?  Oh My ~ Elyse

One of the few things I miss about New York is the bridges

I NEVER got tired of crossing the bridge, and always took the way of the bridge instead of the tunnel,  even if it had more traffic, or was the longer way because the feeling of crossing the bridge was amazing even if I did it twice a day. I especially loved the Brooklyn Bridge where I used to identify the beautiful twin towers, or I would be on my way to the world trade center. I miss that view terribly.

In the other hand, I will never forgive those fools for putting toll boths on bridges that we paid with blood tax money to build. I am amazed at how willingly and easily people go along with being sucked dry everywhere they turn.

and last, but not least; Once I got stuck without a penny in wallet, (In the New York poverty days) on my way home from connecticut with toll booths on almost every road home. That was an interesting journey........
