Re: Your abuse story.
This is an important story, whether it happened to you, or is happening to someone right now, it needs to be put in the spotlight. I was pulled into the story, and felt the things that happened to me growing up. And so many children lived through the the things parents or relatives did to them, and they, including myself, still live in fear of it today. You are welcome - just keep telling it and keeping it in front of the public. I have a few poems, such as "Night Rage" - 'Lost Innocence" that I have posted that pertained to specific times in my life as a child, but there is so much more that I could tell, that I have not done so. Thank you for reading my post. A really cool thing is happening today on Facebook; women are reading this blog, and having a bit of an uprising. If it leads to their safety, and that of their children, then it is all worth it. We've hidden for long enough.
I really appreciate your comments, and taking the time to read about something I feel is of utmost importance.
