                I think go with your mother's advice and stock up the quarters! It would be so mind relieving! I must say the parking issue on campus reminded me of my own experience along with my SIL and my son! But, my SIL didn't care and had amassed a huge bill for parking violations! Such a waste of money! And, on the towing, you are correct a small ransom is required to retrieve it! sam

                    So many educational institutions and places just don't adhere to the rule 
                
                to maintain requisite  parking spaces before embarking on fresh construction on the same land.

                FSI - I agree with another blogger here, there should be a sticker for FREE parking...I mean really ~ I think students pay so much as it is.  How stressful the idea of a ticket and such would be.  Elyse (hope you have a sack of quarters, time being)

                    Most students have so many bills to contend with what a shame that a 
                
                sticker on the car can't give all students free parking. After all, take away the students and you have no University.I don't see it as stealing, just trying to get to class on time and having your car towed would be just awful. Glad it ended well.

                    Excellent student parking lot FAIL
