Nice poem interesting subject I suppose it all depends how one defines intelligence. Is it relative to peer group if every one thinks a round object is an orange the one who doesn't might seem appear a duffer. I remember once when I was a conscript the sergeant said ( you see lads it's no use shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted) Every one laughed, I didn't feel like laughing I had heard that saying hundreds of times. The sergeant picked on me, ( don't you understand lad.) He's a bit thick said the corporal. So I learned to laugh in unison.
