Re:
Wrestling all night, well I might be wrestling with a large amorous female Gorilla having been thrown in a cage by well wishers. Yes you are right Bob it's the adrenalin or something, of course it could be my new muse very exciting, I think.

Fully how you can wrestle with it all night long, then suddenly hit on the word or phrase you want.  It seems we have a little friend in the back of our writer's brain who never sleeps - though he may wake up at inconvenient times.

Hi CC , even though you may move into several directions in your writings, I always pick up something. Funny the mind can be like the spear ----straight to the target----- then another time its all over the map.

Perhaps that's the problem sometimes E.E. people become careless in portraying ideas and emotions and it is negatively received and then one responds negatively

Well Femia I hope you wear knee pads If you don't you will suffer later on I used to be on my knees picking strawberries but soil is softer. Plumbers get bad knees and carpet layers, you must be pretty tough.

It's all in how one perceives 'everything' - the nature being cerebral or witty or creative - I think it hard to break the 'flow' however.  I think no matter the words emote and come through discreetly-but to some indiscreetly - CC I think this is a brilliant poem. (again) and it makes me ponder and realize that the writer always 'writes' and it's all how the reader perceives. Complex poem with many layers - EE

CORNCRAKE
The trial of a struggling poet brain, for the right word or phrase or feeling methinks, makes us skate on the edge of madness almost.

It was interesting to read about searching for a word! I read about a poet once that took 18 years to finish a poem while looking for the right word! I have experienced that in poetry but never for that length of time! sam

I'm not sure I could run a mile but I can work on my knees laying tile all day long and as discretely as it is words paint the feelings and one can only express with their heart what it truly is..Life long friendship never ending. Blessings Fema ( Just finished floor)
