A very enjoyable read, deep somewhat heartfelt and the means to overcome!

C.C....

I notice this simple but important line in the middle of your poem:

"There was a flame."

Prior to this its a pretty dismal downhearted world of images, but from this line on one notices (at least I do) a shift to a bit more optimistic and happier thoughts and images:

"I long to go out where the time is rolling
And touch the warmth that must be waiting there"

At least now there is a glimmer of hope....

What fantastic imagery, you paint with phrases I wish I had thought of first

the dregs of a vessel ~ now that's something to write about, but you have --- and all this passion flows so fluid with you CC ~ You've got such a cavernous mind...deep and with many thoughts and visions.  EE

bucket
I was right there with you in the pail for a while, but then you got too deep for me.
  Question:  what's going on?
My website's been absolutely starved this past week - no visitors except for you (not that that's not fine, but the number makes me wonder.)  I put a lot of work into those poems, even the repeats, but it's almost as they never got posted!  Off season, maybe?
