A fine surge of wonder. Where are you, actually? On vacation somewhere or just fantasizing? I remember getting a similar feeling on a cruise when I actually SAW the curvature of the Earth! I held up a straightedge and saw the horizon touch at both ends - but not in the middle! My imagination failed me when I tried to sense the size of the globe that could make such a little arc!!! I almost couldn't sleep that night for wonder.
