dont have one

Growing up the house my parents built was not created with an attic. Just a crawl space I think. But...I can imagine...

Attic

Love your concept from the topic of the attic. Many poems could start flooding through the mind.

fun
Okay now edit this.  Just get a pencil and circle all the important words and cross out all the extra fluff and a poem will easily emerge....

Oh my --- Red - red is the new color of the year for me.  I have become infatuated with the color red.  So I have red shoes and a red shiney patent purse and a red clutch.  I have some beautiful red roses blooming in my gardens; the red hues are from brilliant to glossy to velvety.  I have rosy red cheeks most of the time and I'm told by my children that I am 'red' like an Indian woman (which I am part Cherokee from parts down the line).  I see red in the stoplights as 'stop' and warning to me to watch that others are stopping and they don't run into- me.  Oh yes and I have a red fob on my keychain.  It helps me find the keys easier in the purse I am carrying.  I have a bright red collar on my black and white boston puppy because I think it looks 'sharp' and he seems to like it as well.  I have a few red blouses and only one pair of red slacks.  I have only 4 red dresses and only one red skirt.  Actually, I am going to use the old red skirt for my scarecrow this year.  Speaking of red, my eyes are getting weary and red lined, this I know, because 5:30 am comes early and it was a long journey this past few days. Poet, I really appreciate all the time you offer here on blogit and I have to tell you that I do so like your books and your website.  It's wonderful - it's professional.  Elyse
