I have felt that way before. I hope you are able to be lifted up out of this soon.

It is so tough when such emotion takes over
so often people say "just get over it" what they fail to see is that if you could you would have already done that.  Allow yourself to feel what you need to feel and you will come out of it easier.

Yes, I think death stirs up emotions for the present loss, but also for those losses suffered before. thank you for the encouragement.

Re: ravenmarie
I don't think you are babbling--I think it makes sense and is very good advice. Yes, I hate that "d" word also, but I think you may be right about that as well. Thanks!

The hardest thing about death is that while it is more often than not a mercy to those it takes from us, it leaves nothing but a dull sadness and emptiness behind.  I hate that feeling too, but it is best just to acknowledge your feelings, whatever they may be, and give yourself patience in working through them.

I hate that feeling, too. When everything else in life seems to be weary, and not the way I want it and my thoughts go crazy every time my head falls on the pillow. But there's one thing that would really calm me down. It's this one prayer, A Prayer during Bad Times.

Hope the link works. And I hope the morning you've awaited welcome you with every joy and blessing you deserve to have

I hate the very word but I have to say your depressed.  And we all get that way from time to time.  Try to decide how much of the weight on you is from the past.  It's not easy but let anything that you can't do anything about now or then go.  And then work from there.  You will be surprised how much stuff comes to the surface every time something goes wrong.  I don't know, I'm babbling I'm just trying to express what it is that helps me.
