CORNCRAKE
I thought as I read and re-read this poetic piece tonight you have a labyrinthian mind, that takes us on the most interesting voyages of thought my friend.

Our dreams can get us through so much. I hope that for the speaker's sake that the reality will soon match the dreams.

CC - first off, I adore your writing(s) --- and this is another divine piece I might add. The imagery, from the beginning with the 'petal' not coming together and then broken doll - pieces and fragments. I'm amazed at your vivid imagery gift. This particular writing simply touched my heart. Soft, as a memory of childhood - and today, maybe more, I find the lift of (my) childlike spirit 'safe' protected and shielded by hope of brighter presence- Warm and delightful and one of my favorites ~ EE
