As a recovered alcoholic sober for 42 years now I haven't forgotten lessons taught to me when I was trying to stay sober in the beginning. I was told quite forcefully: DO NOT MAKE ANY SERIOUS DECISIONS OR MOVES UNTIL YOU HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF SOBRIETY UNDER YOUR BELT.
As a mother I know there may not be much you can do about it all and must be very concerned, but addicts are 'con artists' and the conning doesn't end in a few months. It takes years. God Bless you and your daughter.†

I wish them all the best, but I can't help but think that the test of time for his addiction has had little time to be certain he is free of them! I am amazed at how little time you have to put this wedding together! My niece is to be married the end of this month and she pulled it off, or is about to in a short amount of time, but the stress it creates is unnerving! sam

Oh I know you are excited for her because she is excited. I wish her the best of everything. I know you will bring it together for a great party, get the other daughter involved. (yes I reported that there were two copying and distorting my blogs, mentioning my name calling me a liar and Blogit did nothing. Didn't even confirm that I reported them, I have had all I can take. Check my political post there is more there. I am sorry to go but at the same time I am too tired to put up with this trash.) I shall check in on you, be blessed in all that you do.
